About Ashley

Ashley Davis is a professional freelance editor living in San Antonio, Texas. Ashley works in a wide range of genres, and she primarily edits in the horror, fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, and post-apocalyptic genres. She is a prodigious savant, and is able to read at approximately 10,000 words per minute. She does everything from basic proofreading and copyediting to full literary edits and literary consulting for authors during the writing process. She also offers rush editing services (finished product returned within 6-8 hours of submission). As of 2012, Ashley has edited several hundred novels and other works and has worked with over 80 authors and publishing companies.

Ashley is currently working on her Ph.D. in Astrophysics. She completed her previous degrees in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Texas at Austin. She has several years of professional editing experience, and has edited both fiction and non-fiction works. She is available to authors for scientific consultation in the fields of physics and astrophysics, in addition to her editing services.
